How to enter search criterias to find matches in the master data search window?

The Master Data search window works in a way that you enter your search criteria and afterwards you will search for matches from the search window.

Let’s show this on the item list. If I enter my search item in the Master Data search window, I can manually enter criteria directly on the line.

For instance, say that I like my information code to be Tire Type because I like to see all the tires or all the items that has 700 as part of the Tire Type description. And I’d like another criterion, might have my Bike Type to be a city bike or a flow bike. So I can select like this and I can even enter a filter.

So I can select from the drop-down, City Bike or I could just enter manually a Flow Bike, and from my process tab, I’ll select search match and that will return the amount of item in this case that fulfilled the search criteria.

Likewise, on the customers and vendors and other entities that I can search upon, I can enter criteria as many as I like and when I press the search match function, it returns the data set that is within the filter.
