All changes made in the Master Data can be logged. Thereby, you can create an archive of entries if you want to follow how they develop.

Let’s take an example from our Touring Bike. If I go into my specifications and I’ve added a last date tested and that’s a data that I’d like to follow. How often it’s tested.

I can go into my information code list and from there I can create archive setup and define which of those information code I want to archive and which changes, meaning if it’s the value or information value, etc.

After doing this setup, it will log the changes when I change the value.

So for instance, if I enter the 23rd of June like this, there will be a created and archived entry, and I can see in all the archived entries the previous value and the new value and who did the changes. There is a user ID as well.

So, you can see how the data is developing.

So, that’s possible to set up.
