You can define texts to pop up on sales order and purchase order documents. If you want specific information in run time when you enter customer number or item number on a sales order, you can make it pop up from that basic information.

If I go into my item 1010 and I’m going into my Master Data Texts for an example, I have defined an information code that I called sales pop-up. Just need to open here.

And on that information code, I have defined both that it should pop up opposite to all the other information codes as you can see here with the check mark.

And I have also defined I want to use several config values or allow several config values. Meaning that I can define more than one information to pop up for this specific item.

And that way, I can define the structured way for information to pop up, and, for instance, here to ask for color and material.

Likewise, on my customers, if I’m checking out my customer 20,000.

On that customer, I have also defined a pop-up information and at this case, it’s about telling whether it’s a happy or unhappy customer.

So, I have defined a text in here under the same setup to pop up information. I’ve defined here that the customer could be happy or not happy or whatever, and I can even write specific text on this customer that appeared to have a bad experience or whatever I would like to write.

So now, when I’m creating a new sales order. Here we are. I create a new sales order for the customer 20,000.
And then, it pops up saying, Peter had a bad experience with us and likewise when I enter my item line down here for that specific item number.

When line is inserted, it comes up and asks – tell me to ask for a color and tells me to ask for preferred material.
This means, as a sales person, I can get important information in run time when I’m entering the specific order.
