One of the advantages of the Sales Configurator is the ability to transfer customer-specific information through the hierarchy.

This means if you, on a sales order line, insert an item and it depends, the app depends on the master data information, so here you can define customer-specific information, for instance the gear, if the customer wants another gear, another color or whatever they would like and you can determine which of those to transfer to the hierarchy.

So, you take up all the customer-specific information and then when you create the hierarchy, those informations are moved through down the hierarchy, so if you look into the documents here in the production order for instance, it can be moved to the shop floor environment where we have the master data transferred to the production order line and it’s also possible to print this out and if you change it on the sales order it’s possible to update it on the production order.

So, this way it’s possible for the customer to tell the salespeople what they would like and the salespeople to transfer this information to the production order and print it so everybody can see the requirements.
