With Reverse Planning, it’s possible to calculate per location or to add location together.
So, if I’m calculating per location, meaning I want to calculate location separately and I add a location filter, this is two locations, it will calculate each location separately and create lines for each location.
As an example, my item number 1450 here has an inventory of minus 30, so, it’s critical in this view.
And if I’m looking at the graphical profile with the same dates, looking at the location filter basic on this line, I would expect it to be minus 30 on the specific date, the end date here.
But as a fact, I know that this item is not critical if I’m looking at both locations.
So, if I’m showing just the critical view again and I’m adding both location in here like this, because I have items on the distribute location, the end inventory is now positive and therefore it shouldn’t appear in my planning if I’m planning with the both location together.
So, therefore, if I checkmark or de-checkmark the calculate per location, it will take all the location in my location filter or all location if I have no filter in here, add together and now it’s not critical.
So, this can be used to figure out if an item overall is critical with many locations together or only per location.
