In the Reverse Planning, when you calculate move demand dates, and it comes up with suggestions of lines to move, if the line is a type production order, not the replenishment system, but the source type production order, it will create a movement in the quick journal.
So, in this scenario we have a production order here.
The components are all creating or just calculating up to the production order, so, let’s take production order like this one.
Sorry, this is a component, but when filtering to this value, the last line would always be the production order that needs to be moved based upon the component due dates.
So, it looks upon all the component due dates here, figuring out when to move the production order.
If I use the functionality to suggest movement of demand dates, it will only create planning lines of type reschedule.
So, this one only created my reschedule lines here, whereas all the other lines were already in here.
Likewise, if I select all the lines in here, all the production orders like this, and they always selected per production order and I carry out, you can see that it only creates new lines that are of type reschedule.
So, moving demand dates will reschedule planning lines or quick journal lines, while critical item will create new journal lines.
