After installing reverse planning, you are basically ready to go.
There might be a little setup that we just explained in some other videos.
You can find them very easily.
But the whole idea is we have made planning templates with suggestions of what we have done for the last many years, and we have tried to bundle all the best practice.
So when you get in here in the simple MRP planning and you select, for instance, calculate simple MRP, you can use templates here.
You can set a lot of templates up by yourself, but we have also created some templates here, which in our opinion is best practice templates.
So this is all out of the box.
You can find critical items just directly as an MPS functionality, or you can find critical items in all levels, dwelling down through the hierarchy, and you can look at the templates here, and we will explain them in other videos what they do.
We plan this up to maximum.
For all of those templates you can navigate into the template cards, which is showing all the complexity of the template, the date you want to calculate in, the demands and supplies you want to include.
This is explained in different videos because it’s getting very detailed and you want to look at it in a nerdish level.
You can mouse over most of the fields and they will have a nice explanation here of what they do.
You can set up what would you like to do when you run the simple MRP in this template, how should it trigger, what should it do, should it run suggest quantity automatically and so on.
So this is our suggestion of best practice on a template, on planning templates and also with filters for suggest quantity for those templates and item filters and SKU filters.
The whole idea is to learn how to use this.
You probably want to do your own templates, your own filters that reflects your reality, but to begin with this can take you 80% of the road without any setup at all.
