Extended Text on Master Data

Let’s take an example from customer number 20,000.

I enter the Texts here. It could also have been specification or files. I can see a definition of text for this customer.

And in this case, I have Sanne as a contact person and she’s defined in the underlying information value where I defined all my contacts.

So, this is the middle layer and for Sanne here, I could add extended text.

So, if I, on this level, add extended text, I could for instance here add some information that I need to know on sales orders or sales invoice.

So, in this case I can add text that I want to transfer around in dynamics.

Likewise, I could have added the text on the top level instead of the middle level.

So, if I got into my contact, I could’ve added the text in here, just needs to open.

I also have my extended text here. So, I could add it only at one place, if I had text that were coming from all contacts that

I need to transfer to order, or even sales, or does a purchase, or does a document.

Or at this specific level I’m at now, the bottom of the three levels, I also have my extended text that I could have added in here.

So with this tool, I can add all kinds of extended text to all my Master Data in Dynamics.
