This is what happens in the video

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central you can change the status of several production orders at once instead of opening each order individually. This is useful when you need to move multiple firm planned production orders to released production orders in one operation.

You do this from the Change Production Order Status page. Filter the list down to the orders you want, then use the Functions action to change the status. The orders move from firm planned to released and are ready to be produced.

Changing status on multiple production orders at once

When you work with production orders, you often need to move them from one status to another. A common step is taking firm planned production orders and releasing them so they are ready for production. Instead of handling each order separately, you can change the status on several orders in a single action.

Filtering the production orders you want to change

Open the Change Production Order Status page. Here you can select several production orders from a list. Start by finding your firm planned production orders.

If you only want to change specific orders, add a filter. For example, you can filter on the production order number and use an interval to pick out exactly the orders you want. In this case, filtering on a number interval gives you just the two production orders you need.

Releasing the selected production orders

Once your filter shows the right orders, go to the Actions tab, choose Functions, and select Change Status. Change the status to released production order.

This moves the orders from firm planned to released in one step. Afterwards you can find the two orders among your released production orders, placed at the end of the list and ready to be produced.
