This is what happens in the video
When you release a production order or enter a new released production order manually, you typically want to print a materials requisition. This gives your warehouse or production employee a clear list of what to pick from inventory.
How to print a materials requisition from a production order
From the production order, open the Process tab and choose to print a materials requisition. This produces a printout you can carry around the warehouse to know exactly what to pick.
What the materials requisition shows
The materials requisition lists the details you need to complete the picking:
- Which item you need to pick
- The quantity per unit
- The total quantity to pick
The printout also takes into account what you have already picked. If you print the requisition again later, it shows what has already been consumed for that specific production order, so you only pick what is still outstanding.
