With the Shortage On Demand Orders, you calculate shortage status on both sales orders and production orders either directly from the document or with a report.

This means if you look at the calculate sales or shortage or calculate production order shortage, it’s both reports where you can run the report to calculate within whatever filters on your sales header you prefer and calculates in time the shortage status. So it’s a batch update where you can find this status for all sales order and then working with the sales orders afterwards.

Once you start picking them, visually the conflict which you need to recalculate to figure out why you should prioritize the conflict items which one is still a conflict stock and which one turns into partial or no stock meaning you cannot ship them without partial delivery.
