When you need a physical copy of a shipping note in Business Central, you can print it after the sales shipment has been posted. The shipping note lives under Posted Sales Shipments, and you can reach it either by searching for it or by navigating through your Role Center. This article walks through the exact steps so you can locate and print any posted sales shipment.

Where to find posted sales shipments in Business Central

Once you have posted a sales shipment, the shipping note is stored under Posted Sales Shipments. There are two ways to get there:

  • Search for “Posted Sales Shipments” directly.
  • From your Role Center, go to Posted Documents and then Posted Sales Shipments.

Either route opens a list showing all of your posted sales shipments.

How to print a shipping note

From the list of posted sales shipments, the process is straightforward:

  • Mark the shipment you want to print.
  • Click the Print/Send button.
  • Choose Print.

That gives you the printed shipping note for the shipment you selected.
