The Job time mobile can also be used for material registrations for job.
And we have a flow for register on all job, and for registering on your job, and you can set it up per location, if you use bin codes, the normal simple flow will be like this on a basic location, you can register material, you find whatever job you would like to register, the new office downtown for instance, you select the job task number you want to register material, then you select the item number you’re going to do or use.
This location code could be your car, if you’re a technician driving around, the quantity and maybe just a description, it could be just the item description and then you’re back to entering another item number in here.
Or you could do it from a more advanced location. If it’s not just the car or basic location, it also support full warehouse functionality.
The normal thing would be I think, for user to register it from a basic location. But in this flow, we select a job number and other job number in here, case management whatever.
We select a job task number on which we want to take the material, you state the item number that you are picking, and of course the quantity. Let’s take three pieces here.
And then we insert the bin code on which you’re working, and the description could just be the item number again.
And this way you can loop into the journal and this will provide job journal line. It could provide timesheet lines.
So if you look in the job journal now, we have added two items, one on a basic location and another with the distribution location on a specific bin code. So it’s a very simple flow for registering time for a specific job.
