In rental management, we strive to use the standard functionality in Business Central as much as possible.

Thus, the sales order functionality and posting functionality and the transfer order functionality is the same.

Therefore, it’s also possible to mix on a sales order, if you want to sell an item for a customer on the same sales order, where you are doing some rentals.

So it’s possible just to create a simple combined sales order with, in this example, different items like this on a same sales order.

And if you’re using this with the warehouse functionality, it’s also possible to create combined picks, and you can determine exactly how you want your sales order to look.
