This could be sales orders or transfer orders.

Sales container handling lets you bundle goods from different orders into a single container, so you can ship them together and post everything in one operation. You can combine both sales orders and transfer orders in the same container.

You find your containers in the outbound container list, which comes with the app. Each container shows the shipment lines bundled into it, including sales shipment lines and transfer order shipment lines going to different customers and locations.

The feature works against the open order lines, so you can post all the lines in a container in one go. This gives you a clear overview and saves time when you handle shipping.

Bundling goods from multiple orders into one container

With sales container handling, you can collect goods from several orders and ship them together. The orders you bundle can be sales orders or transfer orders, and they can go to different customers and different locations.

You add the goods you want to ship to a single container. This is useful when you have multiple shipments that physically travel together and you want to manage them as one unit.

Using the outbound container list

The outbound container list is the list that comes with the app. It gives you an overview of your containers and the lines assigned to each one.

If you open a specific container, for example container number 10, you can see the shipment lines bundled into it. In this case the container holds both sales shipment lines and transfer order shipment lines, going to different customers and locations.

Posting all container lines in one operation

The container works against the open order lines. From inside the container, you can post everything in one go instead of handling each order separately.

This gives you two practical benefits. You get an overview of what is being shipped together, and you save time because you handle the whole container as a single shipment rather than posting each order on its own.
