One of the things you might want to plan on your containers is when the container is expected to receive the ramp if it’s ordered, when it will be there if you have many containers and you need to check that you are ramp are available.

When you manage outbound shipments, you can plan your containers around ramp availability. By tracking when each container is expected to receive a ramp, when it is booked, and when it is due to arrive, you keep control of what leaves your warehouse and when. The outbound container list view gives you a single overview of all containers coming in and out, so you can sort by day and make sure your ramps are available when you need them.

Planning containers around ramp availability

One of the things worth planning on your containers is when each container is expected to receive a ramp once it has been ordered, and when it will actually be there. If you handle many containers at once, you need to check that your ramps are available to receive them.

You can add this information directly to the containers. That includes when they are expected to arrive and when they are booked for. With that data in place, you always know what is scheduled and when.

Using the outbound container list view

Someone in the warehouse with outbound responsibility often needs to keep an eye on all of this. The outbound container list view gives them a list of containers coming in and out, which they can sort per day or by other criteria.

The point is to control what is leaving a ramp and on which dates. That is one of the advantages of the outbound container list view. It puts the full picture in one place so you can manage ramp usage without surprises.
