In the Purchase Management Journal, it is possible to directly release an order.

This could be relevant if you work in a company where you want to release orders before sending them. And just to be sure, we have order ending on 285. And if I just look upon my order list, I can see that the order 285 is open. I’ll go back to my purchase management journal. Go to the line. In related and handling, I will release the purchase order. I can now go back to my purchase order list. And I can see that the order now is released.
