One of the simplest but most useful things to know in Business Central is where to find your personal settings. The My Settings page lets you control how the system looks and behaves for you, from the Role Center you see when you log in to the date and number formats you work with.
You open it under Setup and then My Settings. From there, you can adjust a handful of options that affect your own experience without changing anything for other users.
Changing Your Role Center in Business Central
On the My Settings page, you can see which Role Center you are currently using. To switch to a different one, open the AssistEdit and pick another. The Role Center determines the layout and content of your home page, so this is where you choose the workspace that fits your job.
Switching Company and Work Date
You can see which company you are working in and change it directly from My Settings. This is handy if you have access to more than one company.
