How to change from list view to tiles view in Business Central?
Lists, as a default, show in a list view, but we can change it to show us tiles.
This is what happens in the video
In Business Central, lists display in a list view by default. You can switch a list to show tiles instead by opening the View layout options and choosing either Tiles or Tall Tiles. This gives you a more visual representation of your data, and if an item has a picture on its item card, that picture shows up in the tile. To switch back, open View layout options again and choose Show as list.
Changing the view layout from list to tiles in Business Central
By default, lists in Business Central are shown in a list view. If you want a different way of looking at your data, you can change the layout to tiles instead.
You do this in the View layout options. Here you can choose between two tile layouts: Tiles or Tall Tiles. Either option gives you another representation of the same list.
Showing item pictures in the tile view
The tile view becomes especially useful when you work with items that have pictures. If a picture has been filled out on the item card, it shows up directly in the tile. That makes the tile view more visual than the standard list view, since you can see the actual product images rather than just rows of text.
Switching back to the list view
If you want to return to the standard layout, go back to View layout options and choose Show as list. This brings you straight back to the list view you started with.
