How to convert catalog items in Business Central?
From our item catalog, we can manually convert catalog items into normal items.
This is what happens in the video
We do that by opening the catalog item card and press on Create Item.
And now my item has been created based on the number series defined in catalog item setup.
If I’m in the general tab say show more.
I can now see the item number that this catalog item has been converted into.
When creating the item, an item cross-reference record is automatically created for the vendor of the item between the vendor’s item number and your new item number.
