Start by going to Setup and then Global Master Template Packages. This is where you select and apply the templates to your system.

Create a filter for the vendors area so you only see the templates relevant to vendors. Then mark the template in the Apply field.
You only need to mark the one template that is the normal template. The other templates follow along automatically, so there is no need to mark them individually.
