Global Master Data Sync includes a feature that lets you release several data templates at once in a single click. Instead of approving and releasing each template individually, you can filter the templates you want and release them all together, either instantly or scheduled through a job queue.
Releasing several data templates in one click
When you work with master data templates in Global Master Data Sync, you often end up with multiple templates waiting for approval at the same time. In this example, four templates are pending approval. These templates refer to a dimension and several other tables connected to that dimension.
Rather than handling each one separately, you can release them together. Go to the task Release Pending Data Templates under the Master Data Sender. From here you filter on the templates you want to release.
Run the release instantly or schedule it through a job queue
You have two options for how the release runs. You can schedule it by running it through a job queue, which is useful if you want the release to happen at a specific time or as part of a recurring process. Or you can run it instantly by clicking OK.
Once the release is done, your templates are released and ready to be synchronized.
