If you want to use G/L accounts between your intercompany partners, then you’ll need to set up the intercompany chart of account.

So let’s go to that, there. So if your chart of account is the same in both companies, then there’s an easy way here to just set this up quite quickly.
We’ll start by clicking on process, and copy from chart of account. Then you’ll get the entire list of accounts, and then we’ll just need to mark all the lines here.
There, and then click process again, and map to same number. So click here. And now you’ll see that the map to G/L account is done quite easily here.
This is quite useful when you have the same G/L account in both companies. If you don’t have the same, then you’ll need to map them each manually.
