Okay, let’s see how we create sales orders with variants on our items, and how we can see the projected inventory of the variants, and send it to our supply company.
This is what happens in the video
So here I am in my sales company. I’ll create a new sales order. I choose a customer. And I select a requested delivery date, and I type in my item that has a variant on it.
Let’s say we want two, then you can type in the variant here if you want, but you can start by looking into the item availability by intercompany.
Look at what is available in our supply company. And as you can see here now, we get the projected inventory of variants as well. So here I can pick the one with color red from my location basic.
So I just pick this one here. Click OK, and now we have the variants here on our line. Let’s release the order.
There you go, and go to our supply company, and look at the sales order that has been created there. You can see the variant has been sent to the supply company as well.
