In the mobile flow user setup, we have a small checkmark that we call allow PIN code login.

And if you set this checkmark, it means that when you log into the system, you can log in either with the resource number or your PIN code, so you can use both.

Whereas if you set the password mandatory, we’ll have to enter a PIN code.

But with this functionality, it’s possible when you login like this, that you could either state your user code or your PIN code.

So if I’m stating my PIN code here, like this, it will open the flow.

Of course, you couldn’t see my PIN code, but I assure you now I’ll enter my resource number instead which is only three digit and it will open the same flow.

So with this functionality, you can make it more agile if it’s not important to you that the PIN code is entered and it should provide as much flexibility as possible.
