The concept of the warehouse mobile flows is of course, to gather data in a flow based matter for warehouse users doing all kinds of warehouse documents.
It’s running directly inside Business Central. So if you have a role center with the mobile flow, or you just run it with a page like this, you will have actions to perform all different kinds of warehouse activities, for instance, warehouse receive, pick, put away, etc.
Otherwise, it will provide a list and I can select which one it is.
So if I’m doing a warehouse receipt, and I don’t know the purchase number, but I know that I have an item number incoming, it will find if there’s only one warehouse receipt, it will find it.
So it provides a flow based experience for the user telling the user what to do now. So you need an assigned user ID in the warehouse receipt, maybe not just continue, how many would you like to receive on this item, which is by the way boxes on the warehouse receipt, etc.
So it builds up a list, I actually entered item number 1500. Now I could select the other item or I could just take the next item on the warehouse receipt and continue.
So I have lookup functionality, and it gives me all this overview on the different items that I’m receiving.
And once I’m done, if I’m going to stop this receipt, it says would you like to post it and of course it posted.
So the warehouse mobile is part of the mobile flow suite which is running directly inside Business Central, but you can use it on handheld devices, you can use it on scanners and tablet and everything.
And the concept that it’s a setup and you can modify all those flows by yourself or we can help you but you can modify it without doing any customization but only doing configuration.
