In warehouse mobile, we’ve done a lot of effort to avoid unnecessary registrations, meaning we’re trying to do the flow as smart as possible.
Let me show you an example of that if I’m receiving on a purchase order here or receiving specific–
let me show you an example in here if I’m for instance receiving a purchase order, I don’t know the order number, I could just enter the item number and it will default automatically find a warehouse receipt if this item number is only on one warehouse received line.
If I have more than one warehouse receipt with the item number, there will be a lookup that I could select from.
So in this way, it’s shortcutting the process and now that I did enter the item number when I continue stating assigned user– sorry stating the user, now it’s asked me for the quantity to receive because it already knows this is the item number so it skipped the first part of the normal line loop in here.
Meaning the normal line loop, I would select or scan an item number like this and then state the quantity and then get back to the item again, so thereby we avoid unnecessary clicks.
I can give you another example in the warehouse received if we select the purchase order number, like this and the item number.
Another example could be if I still don’t know the purchase order but I do know my item number and the item number is for instance a serial number handled item so I have to state the serial number for this item.
Now what I can enter the flow after all this header information and it starts the flow. You can see the item number is 5000.
And it asked me for the serial number but not the quantity.
And this is because if it’s a serial number items, we do know the quantity has to be one that’s another example of short coating information that is not necessary.
