With the flow, add component and consume, it’s possible for me to both add a component which is not in the bill of material and consume it at the same time.

Let’s first take a look at the production order that I’m going to register on. So this is a standard issue that we meet a lot that I would like to add items to a production order, which is not in my component list, let’s say that I’m going to take item number 1200, for this production order, and of course, I wouldn’t go into the bill of material lines just like I did here. This was just to show you.

So I would select add components and consume, scan or select the production order number.

Select the item number that I’m going to consume, and the quantity, let’s take three pieces, register it.

And now we have both entered the item number on the production order and we have added it to the component line, meaning if I’m opening the production or again, let me show you in here, we would have added the component in the end, and we would have consumed three pieces.

And it would have updated the quantity pair by best guess. So this is an easy way if you consume item, not of the bill of material, it could be all kinds of small items, you can just consume it directly from the shop floor window.
