Let me give you an introduction to the shop flow overview, which is a page in Business Central where you get an overview of production line, capacity load lines, and operation lines.

And there’s a filtering possibility in the top section where you can filter on which orders in which operations to see, which is very flexible.

So this is too meant to be displayed in the production area where the user working on the shop floor can place or add different filters on what to see.

And then they can hide the general tab, either see production order lines, capacity, load lines, with the capacity load, and potential, etc, all the operation lines.

And it’s possible to hide some of those functionality in here. So for instance, if I hide my order lines and capacity, I will get an overview of operation line.

And by the filtering, I could get overview here of operation lines allocated to my work center, what I’m going to start, etc, etc.

I would be able to start and stop time, register time output, consume items, etc.

So this is like a screen that you can use in your production area which provides a very flexible overview to see for everybody exactly what they need to see to be able to process the manufacturing they’re going to do.
