The last step in your agile planning routine would be to inform your salespeople about the sales orders to move and the lines that you have transferred into the sales journal.

And in this scenario, I think it’s important to be aware that sometimes moving the demand dates is much more cost effective and you can talk to your customers about it.

So, now that you know all the complexity and you might want to show all these videos to your salespeople to see the true impact of moving sales orders or having to move all the purchase demands, it might be easier to tell the salespeople to ask the customer to get some discount to move the dates or whatever you can provide the customers to be happy.

So, often if you could tell your salespeople like for instance getting 20% off the price or whatever, it might be much easier to actually move the dates on the sales line to get the customer a new expectation that they commit to than to try to handle all the backwards calculated supplies that you need to change.

So, think about this and have a dialogue with the salespeople all the time about which orders it’s possible to move according to your calculations.
