Let’s take a quick view in the master data information setup on the fields that relates to merchant functionality.

And it’s basically only four fields.

So the default language, the first field determines when you merch which language it merges in your standard setup.

The exclude item description in long description field determines when it merge the long item description, whether it should start with the item description itself or not.

The field merge item description determines whether or not you want to use the item description or item description.

Two to merge description from the uh, type description field and the information code list and the update item search description with long description set up the check mark here will automatically update the standard search description field with the long item description if you want to use that because the search description field is deployed many places in business central.

And finally, if you go into the master dates user set up where you can define per user, you have a default language here, which is, uh, you can set up producer.

So it’s possible also to do some of the merchant functionality depending on which user is doing it in here.

So, and that’s the field that relates to the merch functionality in the master data set up.
