What does the inventory pick do?

When I’m posting an inventory pick, it will actually post shipment on the sales order. We have a scenario here, a sales order with nothing shipped on it.

This is what happens in the video

I’ll just scroll a little bit right, you can see the quantity to ship is filled in and the quantity shipped is 0.

From this sales order, I have made an inventory pick and I’ll just navigate into that to find the pick. Here it is.

I have entered quantity to handle on all lines and it’s ready to post.

From the inventor pick, I select post and I could also actually invoice it if I need to print out an invoice and put them in the box as well.

So when I post the inventory pick, it’s deleted and it turns into a posted inventory pick, but it’s also creating a posted sales shipment as you can see here on the sales line now the quantity to ship is blank, everything is posted and I could also navigate from the sales order into the posted sales shipment.
