How do you create warehouse requests?

If you’re using production orders on a location that is not directed put away and pick with the pick checkmark but is different kinds of simple location both the simple only requiring bins or put away in picks, but also the advanced mode with all the checkmarks except for the directed put away and pick, it’s possible to create inventory put aways directly related to the production order.

This is what happens in the video

So even though my main location here is actually a full advanced location without the directed put away and pick checkmark, it’s possible for me directly from the order to create an inbound warehouse request.

This means if I’m opening my inventory put away which normally only applies to simple location and I create a new put away on this location, it’s actually possible to select this production order to create an inventory put away.

So, this is the document ready for doing the inventory put away on my production order.

And if I on those documents enter quantity to handle, I can try actually to post the document from here.

And when I go back on my production order and navigate my entries, my item ledger entries, I can see that it created an output for me with the inventory put away document.

So, this is a scenario where the inventory put away document actually applies to a location that could be an advanced location, but it doesn’t use a warehouse put away document.
