How to view Bin per Location or Zone in Business Central?
In Business Central, you can have bin as part of a zone or just as part of a location. So, depending on your location set up, you might have zones.
This is what happens in the video
In this scenario, on my distribution location, I’m not using directed put away and pick meaning I’m not having this checkmark on the directed put away and pick and I would normally view my bins just by going from the location card into the list of bins.
Whereas if I’m looking at my location with directed put away and pick, like this one, I could do both.
I could navigate directly into bins and this will show me all bins across some codes or I could enter my zone like this and from my zone card in here, I could enter the bin which of course filters on the zone.
So, depending on the bin view you’d like to have, you can go those different ways.
